Experience working with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is highly preferred.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple K-12 and public-sector construction projects while serving as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and field teams.Responsibilities include:Lead all phases of K-12 construction projects, renovations, additions, and Job Order Contracting (JOC) work from preconstruction through project closeout.Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and overall financial performance.Build and maintain strong relationships with Chicago Public Schools, school districts, municipal agencies, architects, and consultants.Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.Oversee multiple concurrent projects while effectively managing project teams.Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and profitability.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and owner requirements.Mentor Project Engineers and Project Managers while promoting best practices across project teams.Participate in preconstruction planning, budgeting, value engineering, and client presentations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
