This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field management skills and experience delivering projects in active school environments.Position OverviewThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of K-12 construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate subcontractors, maintain communication with project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesManage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeoutSupervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnelCoordinate construction activities with school administrators and district representativesMaintain project schedules and assist in resolving scheduling conflictsEnforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA standardsConduct daily site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with plans and specificationsTrack progress and report updates to project managementMaintain accurate daily logs, safety documentation, and site reportsProactively identify and resolve field issues to minimize disruptions, especially in occupied schoolsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
