Job Description

  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities for K-12 projects
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe job site
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers
  • Conduct site meetings and provide progress updates
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work meets specifications
  • Resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports and logs
  • Support project closeout and punch list completion

The Successful Applicant

A successful K-12 Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction field supervision
  • Proven experience with K-12 or commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Degree preferred but not required
