The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating project documentation, subcontractor communication, budgeting activities, and schedule management while working closely with senior project leadership. K-12 construction experience is preferred but not required.

Job Description

    • The Assistant Project Manager will report to a Project Manager and support multiple phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
      • Assist with project administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation
      • Support budgeting, cost tracking, procurement activities, and contract administration
      • Coordinate with architects, owners, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved
      • Help monitor project schedules and identify potential risks impacting delivery timelines
      • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, costs, and outstanding items
      • Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely document control
      • Support project closeout activities and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

    • Strong oral communication and written skills.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Management, or a related field preferred
    • Ability to successfully manage all aspects of commercial projects including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion.
    • Collaboration with the team to develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked
