This is a long-established general contractor that provides construction and project management services across multiple sectors. It primarily works on multifamily developments but also handles a mix of other building types, including specialized and renovation projects.

Job Description

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates for multifamily construction projects.
  • Assess labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing to prepare competitive project bids.
  • Coordinate with project teams, design professionals, and clients to align estimates with project objectives and schedules.
  • Analyze historical project data and current market conditions to improve estimating accuracy and budgeting.
  • Present cost estimates and pricing recommendations to project stakeholders and leadership teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience preparing estimates for multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong ability to analyze drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules to develop accurate project estimates.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and construction cost management tools.
  • Demonstrated success in developing reliable and competitive estimates that support project goals and profitability.
  • Willing to travel throughout Texas on an as-needed basis.
