Job Description

  • Lead estimating activities for multifamily construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, takeoffs, bid packages, and proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, project management, superintendents, and leadership teams.
  • Review drawings, specifications, subcontractor proposals, and project documents to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning and preconstruction decision-making for upcoming projects.
  • Mentor and guide estimating personnel while contributing to best practices and process improvements.
  • Utilize Procore and other estimating tools to manage project information and workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help support regional growth initiatives while ensuring competitive and profitable project pursuits.
  • Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on communication, accountability, and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 7 years of estimating experience within multifamily construction.
  • Demonstrated success preparing estimates for ground-up and/or renovation multifamily projects.
  • Strong proficiency with Procore.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and support teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, budgeting, and cost controls.
  • Ability to analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in residential and commercial construction environments is a plus.
  • Candidates with 15+ years of estimating experience are encouraged to apply.
