Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a $12M, 20-unit ground-up affordable housing development in Malden, MA.
  • Provide day-to-day field leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving field challenges.
  • Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, communication, and field reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with project management and executive leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Construction and serve as a lead field representative for the company.
  • Potentially support future ground-up commercial projects as business needs evolve.
  • Maintain a strong presence on-site; this is a fully in-office/field-based position.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience as a Superintendent leading ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, safety, and site management.
  • Proficiency with Procore.
  • Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades on-site.
  • Must be located within the Greater Boston area.



Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction experience.
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience.
  • Experience overseeing affordable housing or residential developments.
  • Leadership experience managing large-scale projects and field teams.
