The Lead Superintendent will oversee all field operations for large-scale, ground-up multifamily developments throughout the Carolinas and Southeast. This position is ideal for an experienced multifamily field leader who can independently manage projects from initial sitework through turnover while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

Job Description

  • Manage all on-site activities for multifamily construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or construction challenges.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address potential issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and permits in Charlotte.
  • Promote a culture of safety and teamwork on-site.

The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on ground-up multifamily developments
  • Strong wood-frame construction background
  • Experience managing projects from sitework through turnover
  • Ability to independently lead large-scale residential projects



Preferred Project Background

  • Garden-style multifamily
  • Class-A apartment communities
  • Podium or wrap construction experience a plus
  • Developments ranging from 200+ units
