Job Description

The Lead Superintendent - $120M Ground Up Build - Boston - will:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage daily operations on-site, including scheduling, workforce coordination, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Lead and mentor construction teams to promote productivity and high-quality workmanship.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Superintendent - $120M Ground Up Build - Boston should have:

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and safety standards in the property industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Must have proven experience managing ground up multifamily and/or affordable housing projects.
  • Must have proven experience within post-tension concrete construction (such as parking garages).
  • Must have MA-CSL.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
