Job Description

  • Lead all field operations for aviation construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, airport personnel, and project stakeholders to maintain productivity and minimize impacts to active airport operations.
  • Develop and manage look-ahead schedules, proactively addressing field issues, logistics challenges, and potential delays.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA requirements, airport authority regulations, security protocols, and project safety standards.
  • Oversee quality control, workforce planning, equipment utilization, and construction progress to achieve project schedule, budget, and performance goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Aviation construction experience delivering $100M+ airport projects
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining productive client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of aviation safety requirements, regulatory compliance, scheduling, and cost control, with the ability to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale construction teams and successfully executing complex projects in active airport or highly regulated environments.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as needed and support the successful execution of aviation projects across multiple locations.
