Job Description

The Lead Superintendent is responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Managing daily operations on-site, including scheduling, workforce coordination, and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, and budgets.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Leading and mentoring construction teams to promote productivity and high-quality workmanship.

The Successful Applicant

The right candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and safety standards in the property industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Must have proven experience managing ground up multifamily and/or affordable housing projects.
  • Must have proven experience within post-tension concrete construction (such as parking garages).
  • Must have MA-CSL.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
