The Lead Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - Bethesda, MD

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up new construction projects
  • Manage daily field operations including scheduling, safety, quality control, and productivity
  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers (3-4 direct reports)
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain project momentum
  • Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site at all times
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure project milestones, budgets, and schedules are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the construction lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - Bethesda, MD should have:

  • 10+ years of construction experience with significant time in a Superintendent role.
  • Proven ground-up, new construction experience (minimum of 3 projects required).
  • Experience leading projects valued at $30M+ strongly preferred.
  • Background in hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, office, or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage field teams and subcontractors.
  • Stable work history - no job hoppers
