Job Description

As the Lead Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations on healthcare renovation and addition projects ranging from approximately $5M to $10M in value.Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead all field operations from project kickoff through completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders on-site
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with project requirements
  • Manage projects in occupied healthcare environments with minimal disruption to operations
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain budgets, schedules, and project quality
  • Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting
  • Utilize construction technology tools to support project execution and documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of experience serving as the lead superintendent on commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience independently running projects valued between $5M and $10M
  • Strong healthcare renovation and addition experience preferred
  • Experience working in occupied facilities is required
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining schedule and quality expectations
  • Ability to travel throughout Central Connecticut project locations
