This established general contractor operates across multiple offices along the East Coast with a workforce of 500+ professionals. Known for delivering complex projects from concept through completion, the firm specializes in multifamily, life sciences, hospitality, and commercial construction. The Lead Superintendent plays a critical role in driving field execution, with the Lead Superintendent position central to maintaining project excellence and client relationships across large-scale developments.

Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for large multifamily projects
  • Oversee project schedules, sequencing, and daily field operations
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols
  • Monitor project budget alignment and proactively address issues
  • Maintain strong communication with project managers and stakeholders
  • Drive quality control processes and project delivery standards
  • Mentor and support junior field staff as a Lead Superintendent
  • Represent the company professionally at job sites and client meetings
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Proven track record delivering multifamily projects over $60M
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage large field teams
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working on multiple large-scale projects
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
