Job Description

The Superintendent - Water/Wastewater will:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a major pump station project.
  • Manage project schedules, subcontractors, and daily field operations.
  • Coordinate site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Drive project progress while maintaining budget and schedule expectations.
  • Oversee complex underground utility installations and deep excavation work.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, ownership, and field teams.
  • Support successful project completion and transition to future projects throughout the South Shore region.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Water/Wastewater should have:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent running construction projects independently.
  • Strong sitework and underground utility construction background.
  • Comfortable managing deep excavation projects (approximately 25 feet deep).
  • Wastewater, pump station, or water infrastructure experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to commute to New Bedford, MA, with future projects located throughout the South Shore area.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.



What's on Offer

Upon offer, the Superintendent - Water/Wastewater will receive:

  • Base Salary: $125,000-$165,000 (Depending on experience)
