Job Description

Glimpse of your role:As Project Manager, you will oversee multiple light industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead all phases of project management for ground-up and renovation light industrial projects.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field teams and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions to minimize schedule and budget impacts.
  • Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including billing, cost control, and profitability.
  • Support closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and warranty coordination.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
  • Experience managing ground-up or major renovation industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution center, or commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and construction contracts.
  • Experience with design-build delivery methods is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of construction accounting principles, cost forecasting, and change management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
