The ideal candidate will have experience managing industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution facility projects and be comfortable leading subcontractors and driving project success in the field.

Our client is expanding its light industrial construction team due to a strong backlog of recently awarded projects and continued growth throughout the Southeast.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily construction site activities to keep project work aligned with approved plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, crews, and site resources to maintain steady progress.
  • Review completed work for quality and address field issues as they arise.
  • Monitor site conditions and promote safe work practices throughout construction activities.
  • Work with project stakeholders to clarify priorities, sequencing, and site requirements.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates on completed work and upcoming needs.
  • Help resolve on-site challenges to reduce delays and keep construction activities moving.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Light Industrial Superintendent should have:

  • Experience with Tilt-wall
  • Experience overseeing construction activities on active job sites.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, crews, schedules, and daily work plans.
  • Ability to review field work and maintain quality expectations.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination.
  • Ability to identify site issues and work through practical solutions.
  • Clear communication skills for sharing project updates and field needs.
