Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day field operations on light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution center projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules while proactively addressing project challenges.
  • Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Conduct daily site meetings and communicate project progress with project management teams and clients.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to ensure proper field execution.
  • Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation.
  • Drive schedule performance while maintaining exceptional workmanship and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff to foster a strong safety and performance culture.

Glimpse of your role:

  • Manage all phases of industrial, mission critical, and/or commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of necessary materials and resources.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure quality control.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and performance.

  • The Successful Applicant
    • 7+ years of superintendent experience with a general contractor.
    • Proven experience leading ground-up light industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or commercial construction projects.
    • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining aggressive project schedules.
    • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building systems, and quality control.
    • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is preferred.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
