Job Description

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct legal research and compile information to support case preparation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings with clients and witnesses.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including creating trial binders and exhibits.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Support other administrative tasks as required by the legal team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • Experience with managing case files and handling litigation-related tasks.
  • Must have Big Law experience.
  • Must have trial experience.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and filing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
