With a collaborative culture, strong reputation for excellence, and commitment to professional development, they offer the resources of a leading international platform while maintaining a close-knit and supportive office environment in Houston.Job DescriptionSupport attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings, motions, subpoenas, exhibits, and other legal documents.Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines and procedural requirements.Assist with document review, productions, factual investigations, and legal research.Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials, including witness files, exhibits, and trial notebooks.Maintain case files, litigation databases, and project tracking tools to support active matters.Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other external parties as directed by attorneys.Provide day-to-day litigation support across sophisticated matters, including energy-related disputes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Litigation Paralegal should have:3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally within a law firm or sophisticated litigation environment.Experience supporting complex litigation matters, including discovery, court filings, and trial preparation.Energy, oil & gas, or other commercial litigation experience is highly preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.Excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and client service skills.Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity or Opus2 is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.The ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff.What's on OfferCompetitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $125,000.Bonus opportunity.Hybrid work schedule after on boarding.Comprehensive benefits package.Long-term career growth and development opportunities.Interested?
