Job Description

  • Lead day-to-day field operations on municipal, K-12, and light industrial construction projects.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone completion on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Enforce safety standards and proactively promote a strong safety culture on site.
  • Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and manage project risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication with clients and internal teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent delivering municipal, K-12 education, government, or light industrial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to lead field teams and manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
  • Experience working on ground-up and renovation/adaptive reuse projects is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction technology platforms and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Stable construction career history with a reputation for delivering successful projects.
