Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, its products are distributed through major supermarkets, warehouse clubs, convenience stores, drug stores, vending networks, and other retail channels nationwide.As the organization continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies and process improvements, it is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.Job DescriptionSupervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 union and non-union maintenance technicians.Lead daily maintenance activities across production and packaging operations on 2nd shift.Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of highly automated manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot and support resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues.Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment up time.Partner closely with production, engineering, quality, and plant leadership to support operational objectives.Train and mentor technicians on troubleshooting techniques, safety practices, and maintenance best practices.Manage labor allocation, work prioritization, and maintenance planning activities.Ensure compliance with all food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards.Support root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and performance metrics.Participate in continuous improvement and capital project initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
