By leveraging deep expertise in renewable energy, power markets, transmission, and infrastructure development, the company is pursuing data center and large-load opportunities across key U.S. markets.Job DescriptionData Center DevelopmentEvaluate and advance data center development opportunities across multiple U.S. markets.Lead or support site selection activities, including assessment of power availability, utility infrastructure, fiber connectivity, water access, zoning, and land-use considerations.Coordinate development activities through key milestones, including permitting, diligence, utility engagement, and site control.Support large-load and utility application processes.Evaluate infrastructure readiness, transmission constraints, and grid access requirements.Site Selection & Real EstateReview potential development sites and conduct due diligence.Support land acquisition efforts, including leases, easements, purchase agreements, title review, and survey evaluation.Assess environmental, regulatory, permitting, and community-related risks.Coordinate with internal real estate teams and external consultants.Utility & Infrastructure StrategyWork closely with utilities, transmission providers, consultants, and interconnection teams.Evaluate utility service options, rate structures, infrastructure requirements, and power delivery strategies.Support renewable energy procurement and co-location opportunities.Track regulatory and market developments impacting large-load infrastructure projects.Strategic Partnerships & Commercial DevelopmentSupport partnerships with developers, utilities, infrastructure providers, landowners, and other stakeholders.Participate in project acquisition and development partnership evaluations.Develop presentations, investment recommendations, and commercial materials for leadership and external partners.Assist with M&A diligence activities and transaction support.Cross-Functional LeadershipCoordinate project activities across development, engineering, permitting, legal, finance, power markets, and construction teams.Manage consultant workstreams and external stakeholders.Present project updates and recommendations to internal leadership.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
