Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead efforts to develop, optimize, and sustain complex manufacturing processes in a high‑throughput, aerospace‑focused production environment. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, mentoring production teams, and supporting new product introductions while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce defects, and shorten cycle times.
  • Partner with production, quality, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and scale processes.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is a hands‑on manufacturing engineer with experience in regulated, high‑precision production environments and a strong problem‑solving mindset. They are comfortable working on the shop floor, analyzing data, and driving process improvements from concept through execution.

  • Background in manufacturing, materials, composites, or similar environments.
  • Experience using SPC, DOE, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
