Job Description

This Manufacturing Engineer will be:

  • Designing, implementing, and improving plastics molding processes
  • Supporting encapsulation, transfer, compression molding, and potting operations
  • Leading root cause corrective action efforts for molding and process issues
  • Applying Lean Six Sigma tools to drive process improvements
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation and work instructions
  • Analyzing SPC data to improve yield and process capability
  • Executing design of experiments to optimize molding parameters
  • Supporting equipment troubleshooting and production issues
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams on design changes

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing)
  • 2+ years of hands‑on molding or manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with plastics molding for cables or connectors
  • Lean Six Sigma leadership experience
  • Root cause corrective action leadership experience
  • Experience using Mastercam
  • SPC and DOE experience
