Job Description

This Manufacturing Engineer will be:

  • Supporting machining processes and shop equipment
  • Developing and improving manufacturing processes and tooling
  • Creating and maintaining mechanical drawings and work instructions
  • Implementing engineering change orders
  • Collaborating directly with technicians and assemblers on the floor
  • Training personnel on new or updated processes
  • Designing fixtures and work cell layouts in a lean environment
  • Recommending equipment, tooling, and materials
  • Supporting capital equipment justification and implementation
  • Reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming material

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
  • Background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
  • Ability to support low-volume, high-configuration production
  • Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of CAD and mechanical drawings
  • Hands-on, collaborative approach with shop-floor teams
