Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer III will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Primary manufacturing engineering support for machining processes and equipment.
  • Develop and improve work instructions, mechanical drawings, ECOs, and tooling.
  • Design fixturing and recommend equipment, materials, and capital investments.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Support new equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and new product introduction.
  • Train and collaborate directly with technicians, assemblers, and engineers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and shop‑floor equipment.
  • Experience supporting low‑volume, high‑mix/high‑configuration manufacturing.
  • Ability to create and revise mechanical drawings, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
  • Hands‑on problem‑solver with experience working directly with technicians and assemblers.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortable supporting new equipment implementation and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • CAD experience for fixturing and manufacturing-related design work.
