Engineers work closely with machinists, quality teams, suppliers, and customers to develop effective manufacturing solutions while supporting long-term business growth.Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer will assist in developing and improving machining processes for new and existing products. This role is responsible for CNC programming, tooling selection, process optimization, production costing, and technical support throughout the manufacturing lifecycle while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency objectives are achieved.Create, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.Develop workholding solutions, tooling strategies, and machining processes.Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to increase productivity and reduce costs.Support quoting activities by estimating production times, labor, and manufacturing requirements.Collaborate with machinists, quality personnel, suppliers, and sales teams on new product launches and process improvements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. They possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred.Experience with CNC machining, manufacturing processes, or process engineering.Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar platforms.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.What's on OfferThis opportunity provides exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and a clear pathway for technical growth within a precision machining environment.
