Job Description

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving process development, continuous improvement, and new product introduction while also leading costing and quoting activities. This role involves working cross-functionally to optimise manufacturability, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality production standards in a regulated environment.

  • Lead process improvement, NPI, and validation activities.
  • Develop accurate costing models and generate customer quotes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise design for manufacturability.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Manufacturing Engineer is a detail-oriented and results-driven engineer with strong experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within medical devices. They bring a combination of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver projects independently.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 7+ years of experience.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and NPI.
  • Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, and regulated environments.
