Employees benefit from structured development opportunities and involvement in meaningful projects that enhance both production performance and product quality.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues within extrusion and compounding operationsDevelop, refine, and optimize manufacturing processes through equipment and tooling improvementsStandardize processes by creating documentation, SOPs, and training materials for production teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principlesMonitor and improve key production metrics, including efficiency, yield, and scrap reductionMaintain and enhance process documentation, ensuring accuracy of specifications and bill of materialsSupport new product introductions, including trials, process development, and production readinessAnalyze production data to identify trends and implement performance improvementsCollaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to deliver operational goalsEnsure compliance with quality and environmental standards and internal proceduresMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
