Job Description

In this role you will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Reviewing product designs for manufacturability, tolerances, and cost considerations
  • Defining manufacturing processes for new components and assemblies
  • Determining fixture and gage requirements and coordinating procurement or fabrication
  • Creating process routes, work instructions, and bills of material in the ERP system
  • Reviewing Engineering Change Orders and updating all related documentation
  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, supervision, and shop‑floor personnel to improve productivity and quality
  • Participating in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Supporting shop‑floor troubleshooting and documentation improvements

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • A BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting CNC machining operations in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using CAD or solid modeling tools and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience with machining practices, work holding, and measurement methods
  • MRP or ERP systems familiarity
  • Experience developing or maintaining routing, BOMs, or process documentation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, quality, and production teams
