Job Description

  • Support and improve plastics extrusion processes through hands-on troubleshooting
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate, maintain, and calibrate quality control and measurement equipment
  • Work with operators to reduce scrap and improve consistency and throughput
  • Translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing solutions
  • Support engineered product builds, including custom heat exchanger projects
  • Contribute to applied R&D on new materials and processing methods

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • 2+ years' experience in plastics extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of quality control methods and inspection tools
  • Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving on the shop floor
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production and management teams
  • Experience with process improvement or lean manufacturing is beneficial
