Job Description

Design and develop automated machinery and mechanical systems from concept through completion.
Create 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
Manage projects from initial quote through Factory Acceptance Testing.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure proper fabrication and assembly of components.
Partner with assembly teams to support machine testing, validation, and performance optimization.
Coordinate cross-functionally with controls, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
Modify and improve existing designs to enhance functionality and performance.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as needed.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience designing automated industrial machinery.
Proficiency with CAD software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
Ability to generate creative, practical engineering solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Hands-on mindset with ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
