They are known for delivering reliable, high-quality components used in demanding environments, including commercial and defense sectors.Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Engineer will:Lead and contribute to engineering design reviews to ensure product feasibility and performanceDevelop product requirements, specifications, and timelines in collaboration with internal stakeholdersDesign, model, and document mechanical components using 3D CAD toolsConduct feasibility studies and generate innovative product conceptsPerform engineering calculations and analyses to validate design decisionsDevelop and execute testing and validation procedures for new productsBuild and refine prototypes for testing and customer demonstrationsPrepare and review technical drawings, documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and external suppliersMonitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across the full lifecycleManage engineering changes and ensure compliance with quality standardsPresent progress updates and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesMentor junior team members and support knowledge sharingMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
