Job Description

This position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Developing comprehensive mechanical designs for new and existing products
  • Providing technical support to project teams from initial design through production
  • Performing intermediate‑level thermal, structural, and tolerance analyses with guidance from senior engineers
  • Designing fabrication and test fixturing to support manufacturing and validation
  • Creating complete engineering documentation packages in accordance with document control systems
  • Contributing to engineering design reviews through calculations, analyses, and drawings
  • Interacting with customers and vendors based on project requirements and scope
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to communicate engineering results and recommendations

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a specialized engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience designing electronic or electromechanical products
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
