Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs for new products, fabrication tools, and test fixtures.
  • Perform intermediate‑level mechanical analyses (thermal, structural, tolerance) with senior engineering guidance.
  • Support projects from initial concept through production release.
  • Prepare complete engineering documentation packages in accordance with configuration control standards.
  • Contribute to engineering design reviews with calculations, drawings, and technical justification.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to communicate technical findings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience (industry or relevant project‑based work).
  • Experience designing electronic or electromechanical products.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical analysis techniques (thermal, structural, tolerance stack‑ups).
  • Ability to create clear engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated, high‑reliability engineering environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, as required.
