Job Description

You will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Performing on‑site evaluations and gathering relevant technical information
  • Assessing mechanical systems, components, or environments to identify conditions, contributing factors, or key observations
  • Documenting findings through written summaries, photographs, diagrams, or related deliverables
  • Communicating results clearly to internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Preparing technical reports and supporting materials that explain conclusions and recommendations
  • Managing assignments independently while coordinating as needed with team members
  • Traveling periodically for field assessments and site visits
  • Supporting client needs through timely communication and professional interaction

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have

  • A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a technically relevant field
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license is required
  • Experience conducting technical evaluations or assessments in field or office environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience completing detailed work independently and meeting deadlines
  • A willingness to travel for short field assignments
  • Experience presenting findings or serving as a technical resource to clients or colleagues
