Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will:

  • Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept and scope development through installation, commissioning, and close‑out.
  • Provide ongoing engineering support to production, maintenance, and technical teams to meet plant and operational goals.
  • Manage capital projects of varying size, ensuring adherence to safety standards, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on design, fabrication, and installation activities.
  • Develop project documentation, schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages, and track progress against plans.
  • Ensure all project-related safety requirements, documentation, and meetings are completed and enforced.
  • Monitor project spending and performance, reporting updates and controlling costs within approved budgets.
  • Drive equipment reliability, capacity improvements, and resolution of chronic mechanical or process issues through structured problem solving.
