As a Mechanical Professional Engineer III, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering complex mechanical systems supporting critical energy and infrastructure projects. Job Description

  • Lead the design and execution of complex mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydronic, thermal plant, and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Develop detailed system configurations and energy-efficient control strategies.
  • Oversee design quality, technical accuracy, and engineering standards across projects.
  • Sign and seal engineering documents as required.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Lead field assessments, site investigations, and coordination efforts with project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring projects meet performance, reliability, and energy-efficiency objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 10+ years of mechanical design experience within consulting engineering, MEP, EPC, energy, or infrastructure-related environments.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, hydronic systems, thermal plants, and large-scale campus infrastructure.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex projects. [
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience supporting healthcare campuses, higher education campuses, large commercial facilities, airports, data centers, or similar large-scale environments.
  • Experience with energy infrastructure, district energy systems, sustainability initiatives, or energy-as-a-service delivery models.
