Job Description

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination from preconstruction through closeout
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall project documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Help track project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting
  • Participate in site walks and assist with quality control and safety compliance
  • Maintain project records and logs (daily reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation)
  • Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore) to organize and track project data
  • Assist in MEP coordination and technical scope tracking on complex projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful MEP Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an on-site Assistant Project Manager or similar role
  • Experience in pharmaceutical construction preferred; alternatively, healthcare or MEP-heavy project experience required
  • Candidates from MEP subcontractors with strong coordination experience will be considered
  • Solid understanding of RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to support multiple project stakeholders
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore is preferred
  • Eagerness to grow into a full Project Manager role within a structured environment
