Job Description

The MEP Coordinator will report into senior project leadership and play a key role in delivering mission critical projects through effective MEP coordination, commissioning, and stakeholder management.

  • Lead coordination and design support for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Oversee commissioning, validation, and system startup processes
  • Manage coordination between owners, architects, and subcontractors
  • Support project managers and superintendents with MEP planning and execution
  • Review submittals and ensure timely approvals to meet project schedules
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulations
  • Contribute to internal MEP best practice development and team training

The Successful Applicant

For the MEP Coordinator - Mission Critical Construction we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, or related field (preferred)
  • 3-7+ years of experience in MEP coordination, design assistance, or commissioning
  • Experience within mission-critical sectors such as data centers, healthcare, or telecom
  • Strong understanding of Divisions 2-33 scopes of work
  • Proven ability to manage coordination across owners, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes for complex systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred but not required)
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region for project assignments
