Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and project leadership team throughout the lifecycle of a large-scale Dallas data center project, with a strong focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination.Reporting to the Project Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Assist with daily project management and coordination activities
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and cost impacts
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Support subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and buyout activities
  • Coordinate with field teams, trade partners, and project stakeholders
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation
  • Track materials, equipment deliveries, and project logistics
  • Assist with project closeout documentation including punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings
  • Maintain organized project records and ensure timely communication across the project team
  • Support MEP coordination efforts to help keep work moving safely and efficiently

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager (MEP), we are seeking:

  • 2+ years of construction project management or project engineering experience
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, healthcare, or large-scale construction projects
  • Exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to build a long-term career
  • Data center experience is a plus but not required
