Job Description

  • Specific projects being hired for/expected to work on
    • What is the project? Walsh Brothers recently secured additional Boston-area and New Hampshire construction projects and requires an additional MEP Coordinator to support these pursuits. Potential projects include healthcare, higher education, and institutional work, including two surgery center additions in Central NH valued at over $200M combined, Wellesley College projects, Boston Medical Center renovations, Harvard Medical School work, and other newly awarded projects.
    • Where is it located? Greater Boston, MA and New Hampshire.
    • What will this person's responsibilities be within this job? Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection trades; manage clash detection and resolution; facilitate coordination meetings; support field teams and project management; ensure constructability and successful integration of MEP systems across multiple active projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • What is the client looking for?
    • Years of experience: 3-10 years of MEP or Project Management experience
    • Project experience: Large-scale healthcare, higher education, life science, institutional, and complex commercial construction projects. Preference for candidates who have coordinated MEP systems on larger ground-up or major renovation projects.
    • Additional experience: Candidates coming from well-known specialty contractors/MEP-focused firms will be considered. Experience working alongside major GCs or on collaborative delivery/JV projects is preferred.
  • Who will this person report to?
    • MEP Director or COO as well as working alongside PMs on each job
