Job Description

The MEP Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary technical and operational leader for all MEP scopes on assigned projects.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of MEP project delivery from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Manage MEP budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders to ensure financial performance
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, and ongoing performance management across multiple trades
  • Direct BIM/VDC coordination efforts, ensuring clash detection, constructability, and schedule adherence
  • Partner with Superintendents and field teams to drive schedule, quality, safety, and commissioning readiness
  • Act as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and third-party stakeholders on all MEP matters

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of experience in MEP construction with at least 5+ years in a Project Manager role
  • Proven experience delivering mission-critical or data centre projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project financials
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera scheduling tools
  • Strong knowledge of codes and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, LEED)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and interface with clients
