Job Description

  • Lead all MEP activities from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and project closeout
  • Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Manage MEP budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and change order processes
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and performance management
  • Direct BIM/VDC coordination efforts to support constructability reviews and clash detection
  • Partner with Superintendents and field teams to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and commissioning goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, engineers, and third-party stakeholders regarding MEP matters
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address risks impacting cost or schedule
  • Support the development and mentoring of project staff and junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes

The Successful Applicant

A successful MEP Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical should have:

  • 10+ years of MEP construction experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role
  • Experience delivering mission-critical or data center projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project financial performance
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination and commissioning processes
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and LEED standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
