Job Description

The MEP Superintendent will report into senior Mission Critical leadership and play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex data center and mission critical construction projects. The successful candidate will lead MEP field operations, drive schedule performance, and ensure quality execution across major developments.

  • Direct daily MEP construction activities including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, commissioning teams, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage MEP sequencing and installation activities to meet aggressive project schedules.
  • Oversee quality control, safety compliance, and installation standards across all MEP scopes.
  • Lead project startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Identify and proactively resolve field challenges affecting cost, quality, or schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with project management teams to deliver predictable project outcomes and client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

For the MEP Superintendent we are seeking:

  • Minimum 7 years of MEP field leadership experience on commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, generators, chilled water systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Experience managing commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover processes.
  • Background delivering large-scale projects with complex MEP infrastructure.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Proficiency with construction technology platforms such as Procore and scheduling software.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas for project assignments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
  • Mission critical, hyperscale data center, commissioning, telecommunications, military, aviation, or industrial infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
