With a strong reputation for engineering expertise and customer focus, the organization offers long-term career growth within a stable and evolving business.Job DescriptionPerform mechanical, physical, chemical, and metallographic testing of materials.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and heat-treatment furnaces.Verify incoming materials meet specification and quality requirements.Generate material certifications and technical documentation as required.Investigate material and process non-conformances and prepare technical reports.Support production teams through troubleshooting and metallurgical expertise.Analyze returned materials and participate in corrective action activities.Review customer drawings, specifications, and material requirements.Assist with evaluation and qualification of new materials and processes.Support customer audits and special process compliance activities.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on technical projects.Participate in internal auditing activities and continuous improvement initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
