Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of retail construction projects.
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, vendors, and site teams.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and maintain accurate project records and reporting.
  • Help manage project closeout activities, including punch lists and turnover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

    • 2+ years of construction project management or project engineering experience with a General Contractor.
    • Proven experience working on retail construction, renovation, or fit-out projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and documentation.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred.
