Job Description

    • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior construction projects.
    • Support project schedules, budgets, subcontractor management, and procurement activities.
    • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
    • Track project costs and assist with reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
    • Attend site meetings and monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
    • Help maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout project delivery.
    • Support project closeout, punch list management, and final documentation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

    • 2+ years of construction experience in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or related role.
    • Commercial interiors construction experience within New York City is essential.
    • Experience working for a General Contractor on tenant fit-out, office, retail, healthcare, or hospitality projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction drawings, project documentation, and scheduling processes.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
