Job Description

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior construction projects.
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Help manage project costs and support financial tracking against budgets.
  • Attend site meetings and assist with project closeout activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
  • Support the resolution of project challenges to maintain schedules and client expectations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

    • 2+ years of construction project management or assistant project management experience.
    • Experience working on commercial interiors, workplace fit-out, tenant improvement, or corporate office construction projects.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and scheduling principles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
    • Driven, proactive, and eager to develop a long-term career in construction project management.
